These include the following:

– Glue must face operator.
– Avoid getting glue on the rollers.
– Tension, heat, speed and pressure can influence the process.

Additionally, the type of printing, inks and films chosen can influence the whole process and determine the outcome. Other influences include the dryness of the inks. If the inks are not left to dry long enough, silvering, bubbling and de-lamination may occur. The size of the print and the thickness of the film also determines which cutting process is required in the finishing stage.
