Digitisation & the Sustainability of Print Media and Education within the 4th Industrial Revolution:
This session will discuss some of the findings of the research commissioned by Printing SA to be presented by BMI.
The goals and objectives of the session are to assess the threats and opportunities of digitisation of print media in the context of South African education, what government policy regarding digitisation means to print media businesses in the education space, and the opportunities that exist thereof, and assessing what this means for jobs and unemployment in South Africa.

The future of the Print and Packaging value chain within the 4th Industrial Revolution: This session will discuss some of the findings of the research commissioned by SATU to be presented by the Institute for Futures Research.
This panel will seek to understand the current and future challenges and opportunities facing the printing industry in South Africa. It will also seek to explore the plausible futures of the South African printing industry toward 2030, with a particular focus on the roles of people.
