Attend the Africa Print Expo in Cape Town for packaging solutions that will create greater brand awareness and that will stand out on retail shelves. The event is taking place on 15-16 May at the CTICC from 9am-5pm.

‘In principle, paper and packaging will continue to play a central role in people’s lives. However, there is massive pressure for change, driven primarily by two factors: digitalisation and sustainability,’ explained Thomas Schiemann, managing director of the VDMA Printing and Paper Technology Association.

Smithers expects an average annual growth of over 2.1% for the global printing industry over the next five years, adjusted for inflation, after 1.1% in the past five years. This development is expected to be driven primarily by the labels and packaging sector, where the growth of recent years will continue, albeit no longer at the same level. This sector currently accounts for around 60% of the global printing market.

Visitors at the Africa Print Cape Town Expo will have the opportunity to engage with industry-leading companies, who will showcase their latest packaging solutions, as well as commercial print solutions, encapsulating and laminating, branding, binding equipment, digital label printing, graphics, digital printing and other cutting edge technology.

Please register online for free attendance to the Africa Print Cape Town Expo, taking place from 15-16 May 2024 from 9am-5pm.
